The CMCC Foundation – Centro Euro Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici held its inaugural Climate Resilience Institute meeting in Sassari, bringing together over 200 experts to discuss climate impact assessment. The event was filled with innovative presentations, including a session on Smart Cities where results from the MULTICLIMACT project were showcased. Researchers presented quantitative resilience indicators for built environments, focusing on risks such as extreme heat, heavy rainfall, and earthquakes. Innovative materials and digital solutions were also explored to enhance future urban interventions.
