MULTICLIMACT at XVIII Convegno AIMAT

The first week of September Dr. Eng. Alessandra Mobili, Researcher at Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM), presented the results of the activities performed within Work Package 9 (WP9) of the MULTICLIMACT project at the XVIII Convegno AIMAT, which was held in Ischia Porto from 31^st August to 3^rd September 2025.

She presented the results concerning the hygrometric and depollution activities of the innovative multilayer system based on hemp-based panel and mortar substrate with the multifunctional UNIVPM mortar. The results showed that this system behaves better than traditional multilayer systems in terms of moisture buffering activity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) reduction, and photocatalytic properties, giving promising expectations for indoor air quality (IAQ) improvement.
